Los controles de salud son las visitas programadas al médico que tienen por objetivo prevenir que aparezca una enfermedad o mitigar los efectos de las que ya se han desarrollado. Estos servicios preventivos son de vital importancia en las personas mayores.

- Déficit de audición y de visión. Ante cualquier pérdida de audición, visite al médico. Acudir al oftalmólogo una vez al año para realizar un control de agudeza visual y de tensión ocular. De esta manera detectaremos los problemas de graduación de la vista, las cataratas, el glaucoma o la degeneración macular.
